Troy Traugott-Schwensen:

Background: Troy has spent 7 years in the Accounting and Finance industry accepting roles with some of Australia’s largest food and beverage companies including The Fosters Group (As a Business Analyst for CUB – The Beer division) and Goodman Fielder (As an Accountant). This experience has provided him with an excellent analytical grounding on which to draw from in his present endeavors as a Precious Metals Analyst, Editor of The Global Speculator newsletter and as an investor/trader. Troy has writen precious metals related articles for Alan Kohlers Eurkea Report , Diggers and Drillers and is a Research Analyst for GoldNerds. GoldNerds markets a very sophisticated research spreadsheet on Australian gold mining companies. Troy is extensively involved in the exciting ongoing development of the Goldnerds products and recently became the editor of the North American version of the product which was released in June 09. Troy has a Bachelor of Business Accountancy from the Queensland University of Technology and is currently a full member of The Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.

Jan Traugott-Schwensen:

Background: Jan has 12 years experience working as a company accountant, predominantly in the office supplies sector. Over this period, he has developed skills in systems development, financial analysis and spreadsheet modeling used in managerial and financial reporting. Much of this knowledge is now applied on a full time basis to the analysis of Precious Metal companies and in the management of the portfolio positions and trading strategies employed by the private investment company he runs with his brother Troy. Jan is a Research Analyst with Goldnerds and is also involved in the development of the products. In addition to his precious metals interests, Jan runs a successful book keeping business. He has a Bachelor of Business Accountancy from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland
